# Air Conditioner Installation Policy ## Revised January 8, 2013 Window air conditioners are the only items allowed to be installed on the outside of the building. Reference Windows, Terraces, Balconies, Outside Walls, Lawn and Grounds Bylaws 7.2 (d), 7.5 (b) and 7.5 (f). All window air conditioner installation must be done by a licensed contractor.
